Hi lovely ladies,
I can't believe our next meeting is this Friday! The weeks seem to go by so quickly. We will be studying our 3rd session on Present Over Perfect: Yes, and no. This week we will reflect on all those times we say "yes" to someone or to do something in the roles we play, but how that ultimately may affect other important people in our lives. I'm looking forward to diving deeper into this discussion this week.
Just a reminder we will have drop-in child care this Friday for anyone who needs it. It is $5 for one child or $10 for two or more children. Please just let Jacquie Najera know as soon as possible if you'll be utilizing drop-in care this Friday, so we can give the ladies an approximate headcount. If your child is already enrolled in MOPPETS, no need to respond. This is only applicable for drop-in care this week.
Kate's Foundation
This will be the last week we are collecting funds for Kate's Foundation. Kathryn Butler, who was a MOPS member, passed away on February 17, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her husband started the Kathryn Butler Memorial Foundation to continue her mission in making a difference in the lives of others.
You can bring any change/cash/check to drop into a "Donation Jar" at your table. You can contribute to the foundation through PayPal on their website, or by sending a check to SVCF with “Kathryn Butler Memorial Foundation” in the memo line.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is back. This is an opportunity to prepare and send a box to a underprivileged child around the world for Christmas. We will have boxes available for the tables and for you to take home if you like. We will go over all the details at the meeting.
Mom's Night Out
Get ready for our next Mom's Night out happening next month. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 14th. We are going to Blossom Hill Nail Spa for a well-deserved night of pampering. More details coming soon.
