What a truly special event we had last week at our Easter Tea. The Mentor Moms outdid themselves with the wonderful food and decorations. Everything was truly stunning. This was the first time I have been able to attend one of these teas in all my years at MOPS and MOMSnext and I was truly blown away. This is such a special time of year, celebrating Easter and how Jesus died for our sins and overcame death so that we may be joined with him in everlasting life. And having a pre-celebration with all of you at this tea made it that much better. For those of you that had to miss, we missed you, but here's some pics from the party!

Next MOMSnext Meeting & Silent Auction - April 20th
Our only meeting in April will be on April 20th. We will have our final discussion on our Aligned Parenting study, so you can get in any last minute questions you may have about the book. Also, we will have our final fundraiser for MOMSnext in the form of a Silent Auction. I hope you were all able to bring in your donations to the meeting last week, but if not and you still plan to donate items, please contact your Mentor Mom and Table Leader. If there are any home businesses out there, we are still able to accept any donations of any goods or services for the Silent Auction. Just let us know!
Mom's Night Out - Bunco Night
Thank you to all the ladies who were able to make it to Bunco night last week. We had a great turn out and it was a ton of fun. The big winners were Chelsea (Most Wins), Jeanine (Most Buncos) and Jeri (Most Losses). Even when you lose, you win! And a special thank you to our host, Lori McKinley for sharing your house and all your love to all of us!
Easter at Venture begins this Friday, Mar 30! Invite all in your tribe to one of our 7 identical Easter services. There will be children’s programming up through 5th grade, translation in Mandarin and Korean on Easter Sunday, and special Spanish services. BEAUTIFUL DAY 2018
Mark your calendars for April 21-22 weekend. This year, Venture has planned an extreme makeover of Yerba Buena High School in East San Jose. My family and I sign up for this every year. It's a great way to get your older kids involved to help others. Plan on signing up early in areas of interest below as spaces fill up fast!
