Hello beautiful moms!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all as we face ever growing challenges this fall. We've overcome so much already managing shelter in place, distance learning, unusual weather, and devastating fires, but there is always hope in Him. I hope you will join us this year with MOMSnext as this is the time where we need each other and connection most. I have at times felt like my world is crashing down, but as I find comfort in Him I know I will get through it with His strength. It is in fellowship that God teaches us to lean on each other, for when He shows us comfort, then we too can comfort others.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
~2 Corinthians 1:3
I pray that this year more than ever we can lean on each other, comfort each other, and most of all connect and find comfort in Him.
MOMSnext 2020-2021 Meetings
MOMSnext starts this week! We will be holding meetings in a new format this year. Hopefully, you have heard from your table leaders about the new structure. If not, please reach out to us as soon as possible by emailing Lisa Sung at lisa.sung@gmail.com, and we will make sure you are connected with your small group. If you don't have one, we will assign you one. Our small groups, or tables, will be meeting every other week to provide fellowship, prayer, comfort to one another and to discuss the digital series put on by MOPS International.
Starting on Tuesday, September 8th, we will all be watching the "Comeback Tour", sponsored by MOPS International to join moms all over the world in this special series. If you miss the live event starting at 9AM PST, don't worry as it is recorded so you can still watch before your small group meets. Times and dates of the small group meetings will vary as each table leader wants to coordinate a consistent day and time that works for everyone in the group.

We are so happy you are considering to join us this year. We may not all be able to meet in person, but we are doing everything we can to make sure you feel loved and supported this year regardless. Please make sure you register on MOPS International for the 2020-2021 year, so we can place you in your small group. We hope to see your lovely faces this year as we all encourage each other to face these challenges ahead with grace, mercy, kindness and love. Our goal is to make sure you feel supported, important, seen, heard, and loved!
To Register:
Simply, go to www.mops.org/join and type in the code: D16B. You will go through the registration process for MOPS International. The fee is now $31.95, which you will pay online at the end of your registration.
Once you are registered, please make sure to email register4momsnext@vccmops.org if you are new and need to be placed in a small group. We will get you all set up.

This year's theme!
If you haven't heard, this year's theme is called "Decide to Rise." It is based on two concepts, first is that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. And second, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you have work to do; meaningful work that was built into your DNA before you were born. Work that you were made for...motherhood!
Throughout this year we hope you will remember God made us to Be Strong, Do Our Work, and Chase Joy! We can't wait to be on this journey and share with you.

Calling all moms who pray.
Join us and the Moms In Prayer group of Silicon Valley at the 5th annual "United - Silicon Valley, One Heart for Prayer" event. This is a FREE virtual event where you will meet a sisterhood of prayer warriors impacting the next generation for Christ. With one heart we will lift up our voices in prayer and praise to Jesus for our children and their schools. Be encouraged by hearing the ultimate answer to prayer as well as guest speakers, to stand firm in Christ as we intercede for the next generation!

Guest speaker and author, Bonnie Bajarin, will be joining us at the even along with other Moms in Prayer leaders and coordinators. And you'll also have a chance to break out into small Zoom prayer rooms with women in your area.
